Cash attended school at St. Benedict School and St. Stephen School in Calgary Alberta, while attending St. Stephen School, Cash received Aboriginal Academic Achievement Award and later in life he received his GED to complete his schooling. At the age of five years he played Hockey with the Southfour Hockey Association and the Seven Chiefs hockey. He started hockey as a goalie and then became defenseman up until the age of seventeen years, he was awarded multiple medals which included MVP. He travelled Powwow's as a grass dancer. Cash enjoyed working and was starting his career in welding. He received many certifications; WHIMS, Traffic control BCCSA, H2S Alive, Chainsaw and Construction safety training. Cash's present employment was with the Guja Nugutin-na (WOP) working with the Mental Health Program on Tsuu T'ina Nation. Cash loved caring for his grandmother Ruth and was a loving brother to his nine siblings and a great friend to his hockey families.
